- Apple has announced the AirTag 2, an updated version of its popular item tracker that features a longer range, a louder speaker, and improved Precision Finding powered by a new Ultra Wideband chip.
- The second-generation AirTag uses the same Ultra Wideband chip found in the iPhone 17 lineup, and for the first time, owners can use Precision Finding directly on Apple Watch Series 9 or later.
